Finance Committee

The Finance Committee supports the Board’s fiduciary oversight and financial governance. Responsibilities include reviewing monthly financial statements; monitoring cash flow, reserves, and financial controls; overseeing budget development and making a recommendation to the Board for approval; reviewing major financial commitments and contracts above staff authority thresholds; advising on compensation frameworks and benefits strategy as requested; coordinating with any external accountant/auditor and recommending audit/review scope; and ensuring timely completion of required financial filings and reporting. The Treasurer shall chair or co-chair the Finance Committee unless otherwise determined by the Board.
