At Cornerstone Academy, IOWA Testing is an important part of our commitment to academic excellence and Christ-centered education. Students in Grades 1 through 9 participate in this standardized assessment to measure their mastery of key subjects such as reading, language, mathematics, and more.
While tests provide valuable insights into academic progress, they also offer students the chance to practice focus, discipline, and perseverance, reflecting the virtues that undergird a Classical education. Teachers use the results to tailor instruction, celebrate growth, and guide each student’s continued learning, ensuring that both knowledge and character are nurtured.
We encourage families to support their children during testing days with prayer, encouragement, and reassurance, reminding them that their worth is rooted in Christ, not just in scores.
