Cornerstone Academy will be closed in observance of Memorial Day, providing a time for students, families, and staff to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by men and women who have served our nation.
While there will be no classes, we encourage our community to use this day to honor those who gave their lives in service, and to reflect on the values of courage, duty, and stewardship. Memorial Day is also a time to give thanks to God for the freedoms we enjoy and to remember the responsibility we have to live lives of service and faithfulness in our families, communities, and nation.
As we commemorate this day, we invite students and families to pray for our country, give thanks for the gift of liberty, and consider ways to serve others as a reflection of God’s love and provision.
